Discover a way to engage students in renewable energy. We will engage in a PBL activity that incorporates critical thinking skills. Create a blueprint, build your product, test the product, and revise your product to increase the energy produced. The windmill blades built will be tested using a voltmeter to determine the energy output in accordance with the blade design. There will be a water wheel project introduced to accommodate K-6, but not thoroughly studied. The waterwheel project is a fun way to tie two renewable sources together.
