Visit with and learn from teachers participating in the RET (Research Experience for Teachers in Engineering) summer program. In this energy-themed program, teachers gained hands-on experience in state-of-the-art engineering research labs and visited energy facilities such as a hydroelectric dam and American Indian cultural sites. The program included rich discussions on Indigenous perspectives in engineering, with a focus on integrating STEM with the seven essential understandings of Montana's Indian Education For All.
Visit the teachers’ exhibit tables and learn how they (and you!) can incorporate energy-related engineering research into the classroom, including topics such as biofuels, water filtration, materials science and other topics. You will also learn more about the RET program and how you might be able to join us next summer for this paid research experience!
